For me koteka is my ancestor traditional form of body part protector. My father taught me that eventhough I never wear koteka since I was a child, I should appreciate koteka as one of our tribe identity. By not wearing it anymore, it doesn’t mean that I should throw it away somewhere in the jungle. I am thinking about transforming koteka into highly appreciated art.
